OneSignal pricing vs Pushwoosh: see what you’d save

On October 1, 2026, OneSignal’s Free plan stops at 1,000 monthly active users for mobile push and in-app messages. New sign-ups hit the wall a month earlier, on September 1. Past that point you land on Growth: $19 a month plus $0.012 per MAU. Type in your user count. You’ll see that number, and what the same audience costs on Pushwoosh Push only. No email, no sign-up.

What’s changing at OneSignal

Under 1,000 MAU, the Free plan still works. Over it, mobile push and in-app messages go dark until you move to Growth. Web push and email stay free.

The limit hits sooner than most teams expect, for three reasons. MAU counts every device that opened your app in the last 30 days, subscribed or not. It adds up across all your apps, not one at a time. And the 30-day window slides, so if you trim your audience, you buy a month, not a way out.

A year, side by side

The calculator shows your month. Here’s the year at three common sizes. Pushwoosh Push only is $7 per 1,000 MAU, and the first thousand are free.

MAUOneSignal Growth / yearPushwoosh Push only / yearYou save / year
10K$1,668$756$912
25K$3,828$2,016$1,812
50K$7,428$4,116$3,312
OneSignal Growth is $19 a month plus $0.012 per MAU, per their published pricing. Over 50,000 MAU they quote by sales only.

What Push only includes

Push only is priced on the push channel, but you get the whole platform. A MAU is one real person you messaged that month. We dedupe by User ID, so if you reach someone on mobile and web push, that’s one MAU, not two. Billing is per account: several apps share one count and one free thousand.

  • Mobile push
  • In-app messages
  • Web push
  • Unlimited sends
  • Segmentation
  • Customer Journey Builder
  • A/B testing
  • Analytics

Need more than push? Omnichannel is $13 per 1,000 MAU, Email only is $5 per 1,000 recipients, and both bill the same way. Compare them on the pricing page.

Migrating from OneSignal, done for you

If the math says move, you don’t run the move. We do. Your side is three things: an export file, your push credentials, and the SDK swap in your next release.

Your iOS, Android, and Huawei push tokens belong to your app, not to OneSignal, so imported devices keep working from day one. We rebuild your tags and segments, pull in email and SMS subscribers in the same pass, and leave OneSignal running until the test send comes back clean.
